For Trastero de las Artes: Culture, the processes of socialization and exchange are part of a collective choice, of common experiences that give meaning to human life, with the desire to imagine, to see beyond, the reciprocal desire to be in front of the other, in front of the limit to transform it and to highlight the richness of creative diversity.
  • European Projects

Erasmus is the European Union program that offers opportunities for everyone, in all educational fields and sectors. At Trastero de las Artes, we organize youth exchanges and training courses: Key Action 1 (KA1) Educational Mobility and Key Action 2 (KA2) Cooperation between Organizations and Institutions, connecting us with artists and organizations across Europe. This has allowed us to share creative methodologies and strengthen social inclusion through art. Among our featured projects are: - "Art of Life: Silense" (KA210: 2023-1-ES02-KA210-YOU-000160101), a collaboration between organizations in Italy, Malta, and Spain, which explores the potential of art and silence in contexts of inclusion and functional diversity. - "A Stage for Young People" (KA2), which empowers young people through theater and the performing arts. Partners: Italy (WorldNet), Portugal (Embaix de Juventude), Bulgaria (Asoc. Bulgarini). "Diversity and Inclusion through Art" (2023-1-ES02-KA153-YOU-000140261) Project selected as a best practice by the Directorate General of Youth of the Government of Catalonia. People with disabilities in Spain, Italy, and Macedonia face discrimination that limits their right to a full life. Factors such as gender, age, and ethnic origin increase their vulnerability. This discrimination has been exacerbated during the pandemic, highlighting the persistence of social exclusion. The project seeks to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with different abilities, focusing on training young people in the field of disability through personalized training. Partners: Center for Balkan Sorabotka - LOJA (North Macedonia), International Federation for Socio-Cultural Exchange (Italy). "Integra-arte" (KA2: 2022-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000053875), a collaboration between Trastero de las Artes in Spain, WorldNet in Italy, and the Ministry of Gozo in Malta, aims to highlight the importance of social skills among young people with and without disabilities. These initiatives have allowed us to grow both institutionally and personally, reaffirming our commitment to art as a driver of social and personal transformation. We are proud to be part of this European collaborative network.
