Erasmus+ is the European Union program that offers opportunities for all people in all fields and educational sectors. At Trastero de las Artes, we organize youth exchanges and training courses: Key Action 1 (KA1) focuses on the educational mobility of individuals, while Key Action 2 (KA2) involves cooperation between organizations and institutions. This connects us with artists and organizations across Europe, allowing us to share creative methodologies and strengthen social inclusion through art.
Among our highlighted projects are:
-"Art of Life: Silense" (KA210: 2023-1-ES02-KA210-YOU-000160101), involving entities from Italy, Malta, and Spain, which explores the potential of art and silence in contexts of inclusion and functional diversity.
-"A Stage for Youth" ( 2023-3-ES02-KA 152-YOU-000174616), which empowers young people through theater and performing arts. Partners: Italy (WorldNet), Portugal (Embaixadejuventude), Bulgaria (Asoc.Bulgarini).
-"Diversity and Inclusion through Art" (2023-1-ES02-KA153-YOU-000140261), a project selected as a good practice by the General Directorate of Youth of the Generalitat of Catalonia. People with disabilities in Spain, Italy, and Macedonia face discrimination that limits their right to a full life. Factors such as gender, age, and ethnic origin increase their vulnerability. This discrimination has worsened during the pandemic, highlighting ongoing social exclusion. The project aims to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with different abilities, focusing on training young people in the disability field through personalized training.Partners: Centar za Balkanska Sorabotka - LOJA (North Macedonia), Federazione Internazionale Scambi Socio-Culturale (Italy).
-"Integra-arte" (KA2: 2022-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000053875), a collaboration between Trastero de las Artes from Spain, WorldNet from Italy, and the Ministry for Gozo from Malta, aims to highlight the importance of social skills among young people with and without disabilities.
These initiatives have allowed us to grow both institutionally and personally, reaffirming our commitment to art as a driver of social and personal transformation. We take pride in being part of this network of European collaboration.
