The Corrala
A life story, of women who fight for their place in the world.
This project, born from the inspiration of Mucha Mujer, aims to promote the participation of women in the Marina neighborhood through the collective construction of an oral storytelling performance. This performance contributes to the social transformation of the neighborhood by using oral storytelling as a tool to foster personal growth and empower women, promoting integration and sisterhood among them and improving their quality of life.
From the beginning, the project has sought to give prominence to women in the community, facilitating spaces for participation where their social contribution is made visible. Thus was born the artistic creation “La Corrala”, a life story of women who fight for their place in the world.
